Pride Parr, NEWH, a Senior Designer at Joyce Design Group, with 20+ years of experiences whose cross-category expertise and effective leadership skills have consistently delivered attractive results in design, business development and purchasing. She has extensive experience leading and managing design teams and development of hospitality, residential, retail, mixed use, office and industrial real estate categories. She possesses a keen understanding of the role which budget and brand plays in creating a sense of place and reinforces this principal throughout the design and developmental process.

 

Prior to joining JDG, Pride worked for MGM Resorts International as an independent design consultant, assisting with purchasing and installation for the hotels Aria, Vdara, and Mandarin Oriental; the luxury residential Veer Towers; the retail and entertainment center Crystals, and the residential sales pavilion buildings for the CityCenter master plan project in Las Vegas. Additionally, Pride lead the in-house design, procurement and installation for Headington Companies, a Dallas based hospitality owner and developer, responsible for creating The Joule Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel by Starwood; the ESPA spa; Charlie Palmer restaurant, and the Lumen Hotel, a Kimpton Property, and the Front Room restaurant.

 

In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading, runs with her energetic Labrador puppies and of course, traveling with her friends and family to experience fabulous new places.
